3DVideobackgrounds.com Video Editing Contest

Contest Rules

1) The deadline for entries is Jan. 15th 2008. Winners will be announced by Jan. 31st

2) Anyone can enter whether you are professional video editor or graphic designer or hobbyist. You can enter as many clips as you wish but the entered clips have to have different themes and designs.

3) Entries are judged by a panel of our designers and animators. The decision of the judges is final.

4) Even though extra weight is given during judging to entries that use our own Video Backgrounds or Virtual Sets, entries that use other company's backgrounds are not excluded. No purchase is necessary to enter this competition.

5) The five winners of this competition will receive their own page on our web site where their winning entry is displayed. The winner's pages will also contain their web site links and contact information to promote their business.

6) By entering this competition, you are giving us the right to display your entries for promotional purposes on our website.

7) We value your privacy. Your e-mail or other information will not be given out or shared with anybody. Your name or e-mail will not be added to any mailing list.

8) Please pay close attention to the technical requirements.  

Video Clips should be 320x240 in size and a maximum of 30 sec. in length Recommended Video Format is Mpeg-4 (MP4) but entries in other formats (AVI, Quicktime) are accepted as long as the uploaded files are not larger than 7.5 megs. You are allowed multiple entries as long as the enties feature different subjects, backgrounds and themes.

If your original video is longer than 30 seconds, please pick a segment from your work that best shows your creative use of our animated video backgrounds or virtual studio sets.

9) Employees of 3Dvideobackgrounds.com, Buyoutmusictracks.com, Geeks.com and Videomaker.com are not eligible to enter into this contest.
